Max Blagg was born in England and has lived in New York City since 1972. He is the author of four collections of poetry, and several other books and chapbooks, most recently Slow Dazzle, (Shallow Books NYC, 2017) which documents 25 collaborations with artists including Nan Goldin, Alex Katz, Jack Pierson, Richard Prince, and others. He is a member of the faculty of the school of Visual Arts, (Photography Department). His 'typewriter' wall works have been exhibited at Show Room Gallery (2013) Six Decades Books (2014) Tripoli Gallery (2017), James Salomon (2017) and the Luhring Augustine Bushwick exhibition of Larry Clark's personal collection (2017)
Duane Park is a tiny but mighty neighborhood treasure. It the second-oldest public park in New York City, having been planted in 1797 on the remnants of an old Dutch farm.
