Since 2013 Jill Connor has been a Visiting Critic to Art OMI, the LMCC and the Woodstock/Byrdcliffe artist residency programs, as well as a Guest Curator at the Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs in Long Island City and at 33 Orchard in Manhattan. In 2015 she was a Visiting Critic at the School of Visual Arts MFA Fine Arts Program located in Manhattan, as well as the New York Art Residency Program (NARS), the Brooklyn Art Space, Art OMI and The Wassaic Project. In 2016 and 2017 she provided mentorship to artists at the Annual Conference of the CAA in Washington, D.C. and New York City, and also visited with artists at Residency Unlimited. Her focus is on the professional development of 150 emerging artists who live and work in New York City and Paris, France, to provide them with opportunities that will further enhance their careers beyond the scope of a historic archive. I work collaboratively in both markets with an emphasis on French start-ups, gallerists and philanthropists based in Paris.
