TAC Night Internships offer the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic arts organization, developing essential skills in arts, strategy and project management. It is essential that interns are adaptable to an array of responsibilities. Internship responsibilities include : Oversee general organization and productivity of the festival including maintaining timeline and documentation across platforms, email correspondence, meeting preparations and overall calendar scheduling, invoices, orders for merchandising, etc. ;  Manage list of participating venues and partners for each edition ; Accompany on site production of exclusive events, before and during the festival ; Special Projects as assigned

Requirements: BA required for the position; 0-2+ years of experience in similar role, particularly in business development ; Microsoft Office, knowledge of databases (e.g. Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.), Microsoft Excel (sorting & formulas) and Basic IT skills ; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ; Excellent oral and written communication skills ; Able to work efficiently, accurately and collaboratively to solve problems ; Interest in and knowledge of contemporary art

Interns must be able to commit to a schedule of 2-3 days per week for a minimum 3-month period.  Hours are Monday–Friday, 9 am – 6 pm. Occasional evening availability for opening and networking events.

Internship responsibilities include : Research artists and creatives for the festival’s cultural programming and contribute to the development of a curatorial line ; Work with artists, curators, producers, and creative teams to plan and implement artist-created events, talks, special events, supplemental, and interpretive programming for TAC Night commissions; Identify potential cultural partners for the festival Cultivate and nurture strategic public and civic program partnerships. ; Assist in the production of public programs, and commissions with emerging practitioners (i.e. Open Call, Artist Residencies);  Assist with organization of guided exhibition tours including itineraries and relations with curators ;  Formalize and manage general program of events as well as production schedules and timelines with artists and creative team members, production staff, and other (including logistics)

Requirements:  0-2+ years of experience in similar role ;  Must be knowledgeable about education and programming development ; Strong knowledge of contemporary art and New York’s arts communities; Strong organizational, writing, and research skills ; Experience planning and executing events

Interns must be able to commit to a schedule of 2-3 days per week for a minimum 3-month period. Our hours are Monday–Friday, 9 am – 6 pm. Internship is unpaid, but a stipend for lunch and transportation is offered.



We're looking for volunteers for the evening of the event (3 hour shift) to check in participants, coordinate with creative partners and make sure that workshops run smoothly.
